Welcome to Residents Against Dangerous Development, we are a group of renters and homeowners who live near the proposed 9160 Sunset Blvd development. We’re your neighbors, friends, and passionate advocates united against the looming threat of dangerous and excessive development that threatens the unique charm of our neighborhood.
We are concerned for the future of our beloved community and are in opposition to the proposed Mega Digital Billboard that would be located at 9160 Sunset Blvd.
"Given the unprecedented size of this 24-hour graphic display, I have tremendous concerns about the light, includinganimation, strobe and color-changing effects, emanating from the billboard in the early morning hours and after Sunset."

NO DEVELOPER PROFITS AT THE COMMUNITY'S EXPENSE
“Commercial profits cannot be at the expense of directly affected homeowners and all residents.”
–Regine O’Neill
MORE TRAFFIC IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
“The proposed project at 9160-9176 Sunset Blvd will add to traffic and parking issues in our neighborhood especially in light of the developer’s request for the city to allow the project to have fewer than code required parking spaces.”
-Greg Thompson
IMPACTED QUALITY OF LIFE
“Negative effects from this light pollution will include sleep disturbance, impacting my quality of life, and greatly disturbing the look and feel of my home.”
– Matthew Rolston
MAJOR CONCERNS
Below are some troubling highlights from the environmental analysis the developer has already shared with the City…
The environmental review established no haul routes for the public to consider. However, the draft environmental review also notes that the project should avoid residential properties - this is an impossibility at 9160 Sunset Blvd with residential neighbors all around.
Draft Environmental Review - City of West Hollywood
The proposed 52,999 square-foot office tower and restaurant has only 86
parking spaces to accommodate employees, staff, office workers, vendors, and restaurant patrons.
